Hello everyone, up for sale is my 2008 Audi R8 V8 Model, I am the second owner, I have purchased this R8 back in July 2012 from the original owner, at the time the car had approx. 7500 Miles (12000KM, it currently has 11500 Miles on it, as you have probably noticed this is a very low mileage R8, this was not my daily driver I would only drive it from time to time. It was my special car.
I purchased this car in Montreal, Canada as I lived there, obviously was never winter driven and was stored from November to May, in July of 2015 I moved to Miami, Florida and have imported the car to the US in May of 2016, because Canadian Spec R8’s and US Spec R8’s are the same there’s was no modifications needed to imported it to the USA, it was approved by DOT and EPA, the only difference is the Analog part of the cluster will display speed in KM/H which is pretty cool showing up to 350 KM/H however on the digital display you can alternate from KM/H to Miles per Hour and vice versa.
The only reason I am selling this beauty is due to an investment I’m intending to make in a very close future.
This is the V8 Model with a 6 Speed Manual Transmission, color is Phantom Pearl Black with Black Leather Interior.
This car has been maintained by myself, I am a professional technician and work on several high end cars, under my ownership this car has undergone an oil change every 6 months regardless of mileage, I replaced the spark plugs as well, and flushed Brake Fluid once a year. The only part I have changed in the engine bay was the Oil Level Sensor which was “sweating” and I decided to change it. I also recently replaced the battery with a Brand new High Quality Battery, the original battery had done its time. Other than that never performed any major work, the brakes are original and have plenty of life left. The car always ran as it should. This car has not seen and body work and has never been involved in any accident or any fender bender.
This car originally came with Full Leather Interior, RNS-E Navigation, base sound System.
The engine is stock and has never been modified however this car has seen many major cosmetic improvements that I will outline below. I have spent over $25,000.00 in tasteful upgrades that only made this car better in every way. Needless to say when you drive this car your like a celebrity the attention it gets is overwhelming with thumbs up all of the time.
The only 2 negatives things about this car is the Gas Door as a small hairline scratch (See Last 2 picture) and the front bumper has had a paint retouch done about the size of a quarter (See Last 2 Pictures) this is where the lip meets the bumper. The car is perfect and you may ask why not repair those 2 things, well I purchased it this way, I would not paint a whole bumper and have non-original paintwork, as for the gas door its really barely noticeable. I simply want you to know what you are buying.
Before I go into details I want you to know the following I am truthful and trustworthy person I have nothing to hide however I have described this car to the best of my knowledge I do invite you to get this car inspected at any Audi Dealer or Indy shop in my area, I’m willing to drive this car at a shop of your choice within a 100 Miles distance, or better yet come see it in person I have no problem to pick you upat Fort-Lauderdale or Miami Airport. This is a 2008 Car and it is a used car sold with no expressed warranty, it is sold as is.
Here are the cosmetic mods that have been performed on this car I will divide this in sections and I will also mention if the original part is still available
ENGINE BAY
Car came with black plastic engine panels and covers. The following was upgraded
FACTORY ORIGINAL CARBON FIBER SIDE PANELS AND FIREWALL PANEL
THE AIR FILTER COVER AND SMALL ENGINE COVER ARE AFTERMARKET CARBON FIBER PARTS THAT BLEND IN WELL WITH THE ORIGINAL CARBON FIBER ENGINE PANELS AND ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION.
FOR THE CENTER ENGINE COVER THAT SMALL COVER IS FITTED WITH A “R8” LOGO INSTEAD OF THE TIPYCAL “R8 V8” LOGO.
I NO LONGER HAVE THE ORIGINAL BLACK PLASTIC PANELS
AIR INTAKE
CUSTOM AIR FILTERS WITH CNC MACHINED ADAPTERS AND K&N AIR FILTER, THIS IS A CUSTOM MADE VERSION AND WILL NEVER NEED REPLACEMENT AS LONG AS YOU WASH THE FILTERS EVERY 5 TO 10K MILES DEPENDING ON CONDITIONS ITS DRIVEN
EXHAUST
FITTED WITH A NHP EXHAUST AND THIS V8 SCREAMS, THE SOUND IS ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR THERE’S NOT ONE DAY WHEN I DRIVE IT THAT NO ONE STOPS ME TO ASK ME ABOUT THIS EXHAUST, THE V8 SOUND PUTS THATV10TO SHAME WITHTHIS EXHAUST. THIS EXHAUST IS A VALVE CONTROLLED EXHAUST IT WAS FITTED WITH A CUSTOM PUSH BUTTON SWITCH LOCATED ON THE INTERIOR MIRROR TRIM, IT LIGHTS UP IN BLUE WHEN THE VALVES ARE CLOSED AND RED WHEN THE VALVES ARE OPEN. IT WAS ALSO FITTED WITH SLIGHTLY LARGER BLACK CHROME EXHAUST TIP, THIS IS A VERY LITTLE DETAIL THAT MADE ALLTHE DIFFERENCE IN LOOKS FROM THE REAR END.
NEEDLESS TO SAY I WOULD NEVER REVERT TO STOCK AND I DON’T THINK ANYONE WOULD WANT TO DO THAT FOR THAT MATTER.
I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL EXHAUST AND EXHAUST TIPS AS WELL.
EXTERIOR
THE EXTERIOR IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING NO DETAILS HAVE BEEN SPARED
THIS R8 HAS BEEN FITTED WITH THE FOLLOWING LESS THAN 1000 MILES AGO.
19 INCH GOLD OZ RACING WHEELS WRAPPED IN PIRELLI P ZER0 TIRES FRONT ARE 235/35/19 AND REAR ARE 305/30/19 THESE ARE MADE FOR THE R8 WITH A BEAUTIFUL FLUSH LOOK TO THE FENDERS WITHOUT THE NEED OF ANY WHEEL SPACERS.
THE BRAKE CALIPERS HAVE BEEN REFINISHED AND POWDERCOATED IN RED WITH R8 LOGO’S THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL POWDERCOATING JOB THAT WAS DONE.
CARBON FIBER SIDE PANELS, THESE ARE AFTERMAKET PANELS THAT HAVE THE V10 LOOK, THE V10 PANELS HAVE A WIDER AIR INTAKE OPENING WHICH IN MY OPINION CHANGES THE WHOLE LOOK OF THE CAR FOR THE BETTER, CUSTOM GRILLS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED AND FABRICATED TO OBTAIN OEM LOOK.

The factory wheels are in perfect condition and had been plasti dipped in Mat Black plasti dip can be removed, tire wear on original wheels is 50% worn to the best of my knowledge, they are currently stored.
The Original Side Blades are the original Black ones that came with the car it’s a lighter black color.

This car is very special with tasteful cosmetic mods, however the coolest features that make this car very unique in its own way is the Mirrors AUTO FOLD with Key Fob when locking doors the Mirrors will automatically Fold and unfold when unlocked. For model year 2008 or for any other year I’m not sure if you could find another one with this feature, not to mention Anti-Dazzle mirrors as well. It also has Comfort Functions such has Lowering and Closing Windows via KEY FOB
