If this posting looks familiar to you, it is because this listing was open a couple of weeks ago, but during the week-long auction a problem developed where the drivetrain was vibrating on acceleration. Thinking it was an inner CV joint I replaced the front driver's side axle, but that was not the problem. So I took it into the Audi dealer but they did not have time to look at it right away, so I had to end the auction for concern that the winning bidder would lose interest. The problem turned out to be a loose engine mount (dogbone), which they replaced. The Audi dealer also noted an aftermarked oil cap that was dripping some oil, so I had them replace that, clean the oil from the undercarriage, and change the oil and filter. Everything is operating smoothly again.
This car is fun to drive with the 6-speed manual shifter, all wheel drive, and turbo.
A/C needs recharged if you want to use it, but not really needed for a convertible.
Comfort control module is not working which means the locks, trunk, gas cap have to be manually controlled instead of using the power buttons. Not a big deal since everything still works manually.
Everything else on the car works, the body and paint are decent for the age, and the leather is wrinkled some but not torn.
I am selling because I bought an SUV and don't have room for both in the garage. Title is clean.
