Now without further suspense. the description of this beloved Audi. This is a 2004 Audi S4. It features a V8 4. 2L Naturally Aspirated engine from the factory and is mated to a 6-Speed Manual transmission. It is all wheel drive all the time. QUATRO POWER! If you are looking at this ad. you are most likely an Audi fanatic and know exactly what this car is. Why is this car being offered as is where is? Well. this S4 needs a bit of TLC. It was traded into us and we would love to see this go to an S lover who can bring this sweet car back up to par. What's wrong with it? Well. besides the cosmetic flaws which you see pictured which I will try to list out shortly. there are a few lights on the dash. The warning lights that are illuminated on the cluster go as follows - headlight leveling. brake pads. windshield wiper fluid and a malfunctioning light. Please expect the worst before bidding on this. The check engine light is not currently on but was on when it came into us initially. We do not smell any burning coolant or oil. The airbag light is illuminated (we have not checked into this). The rear muffler is gone. We took pictures for you all to see exactly where it is missing. The catalytic converters are all there but afterwards. someone must have had a custom exhaust and took it off. The front wiper arms are missing for what ever reason. the motor for them still seems to function fine. The radio is missing from the car. There are wires in the trunk and under the rear seat which lead us to believe that there was a sound system in it at one point. The clips that hold the visors folded up are broken off (just some tabs). The interior is in very nice condition but it does not appear to have the original Recaro seats in it. The cosmetic damage is evident and blatant. The hood is crinkled. grille is missing. the fog light grills are missing and the bumper has some wear. Other cosmetics are pointed out with my finger in the 70 photos we have below. We are just trying to be up front and honest about everything. With all of that being said. here are the positive attributes! It does run and drive! The clutch feels good. the engine seems to run pretty healthy although its hard to hear it with the deep grunt the exhaust gives off. The interior is clean and is in great shape. It does have working windows. sunroof. power mirrors. power locks and has the cold weather package. The tires are like new! It does not overheat and I have personally driven the car 75MPH on the interstate for a total of over 50 miles. It drives straight and solid. The brakes feel very tight despite the light being illuminated on the dash. Just because the check engine light was on. nbsp;we are not able to sell to New York State buyers. we are sorry. it's the law. We have not checked to see if this car will clear emissions.
