1998 BMW Z3 2.8i Convertible 2-Door 2.8L

Up for auction is a 1998 BMW Z3 2. 8L Roadster. The vehicle has 125. 68 miles and has been garage kept since 2007 and is in good condition. I purchased the vehicle on eBay in 2005 and to my knowledge was the fourth owner. My wife and I just had a baby in February so I bought a new BMW with four seats :( and no longer have the room for my beloved Z3 in the garage. There are no known major mechanical issues but it does have a minor issue which is needing a new mass air flow sensor. When the vehicle starts. it has a rough idle for approximately ten seconds but then goes away and runs smoothly without any issues until the engine is started again. When power is disconnected to the air flow sensor before the vehicle is started. the rough idle never happens meaning that is the source of the "gasping" at start up and needs to be replaced. Please contact me for any questions or if you want more detail regarding this issue. The sensor can be replaced for under $150. 00. It can be driven with the sensor unplugged but I would not recommend it. A complete tuneup (new plugs and boots) was just completed 3500 miles ago. New brakes and rotors (performance slotted and drilled) were also installed at the time of the tuneup. The vehicle has been equipped with an K&N performance "lifetime" air filter. The battery was just replaced in 2014. The tires have approximately 25. 00 miles on them. The A/C needs to be recharged. The vehicle is in good shape but does have the typical wear and tear for a vehicle of this model year. On the exterior there are a few small scratches and dents but nothing out of the ordinary. There is curb rash on all of the wheels. The soft top is the original top and it needs to be replaced. The back window has separated itself from the fabric which has left a fist-sized hole between the window and fabric. The top also has several worn areas that have accumulated over years of use. I will provide a brand new black soft top (with plastic window) to the winning bidder. You'll just have to have it installed. Inside the vehicle there is a tear in the leather on the driver's seat (see photos) and normal wear on both driver and passenger seats. There is also a crack in the plastic foot rest near the pedals and a small crack and wear in the plastic between the roll bars. The vehicle does not come with a spare tire and only comes with one key. A BMW Bently Service Manual ($100 value) and a fault code reader/engine reset tool ($250 value) are both included. There is no warranty and the vehicle is sold "As Is" with no refunds offered. Deposit of $500. 00 will be due immediately at auction close via PayPal. The remaining amount will be due via cashiers check. The buyer will be responsible for the scheduling and the payment of shipping. Local pickup is not offered due to my work schedule. Please use eBay's shipping service to choose a preferred shipping company. Do not schedule shipping until the vehicle is ready to be shipped. I will send the title directly to the buyer via USPS once the cashiers check has been received and has been deposited into my bank account. The vehicle will not be shipped until:1. The payment has cleared and is available in my bank account (3-5 days). This is to assure the cashiers check is not fraudulent. 2. Buyer has received the notarized bill of sale and title from the seller (2-5 days). I recommend purchasing shipping insurance with the shipping company because as soon the vehicle leaves my garage.
