1988 BMW Convertible, 5-Speed Manual Stick-Shift. E30, One Owner!

Go topless with this beauty. Not only is it a manual 5-speed. stick-shift. it's had only ONE owner!!! Kind of rare when you think about it. Made in Germany. this E30 has its original Alpine white exterior paint finish. Since it was garaged kept its entire life. it's in excellent condition. nbsp;still nice and shiny. no dullness at all. There are a few minor dings. a wee bit spot of rust located on the middle stop light. all of which I've circled in the photos. The original chocolate brown. manual canvas top is also in great condition – it's amazing. it almost looks new. the plastic has yellowed a bit. but still clear. Black leather covered steering wheel; Kenwood AM. FM. Sirius Radio. CD (single disk); anti-locking power brakes; power steering; power side mirrors; cruise control; electric windows; front fog lights. It still has its original. like-new. back windshield protection cover; all original booklets. it even has the signed. control inspection tag. The car was impeccably kept. has all its maintenance records. Smoke-free owner and no one has smoked inside. Has original light-tan leather upholstery. back seats are in excellent condition but the front seats. especially drivers' side. have seen better days. They need reupholstering. The far right headlight has a crack in the glass. barely noticeable. nbsp;but still functional. Dashboard is in excellent shape. the display cluster. nbsp;where it shows time. etc. . the light bulb needs replacing. The odometer broke but was quickly replaced. but broke again at 195. 95 miles. The car was used as a secondary car so not much mileage was added. it has about 225K. Where the tailpipes meet the muffler. the weld is failing. The gas pedal to throttle cable was recently replaced. it was sticking. The right side trailing arm bushing and the shock mounts were also replaced at the same time. Since 5-speed. stick-shift BMW's were rather hard to come by. this one was located and purchased new in Silver Springs. Maryland; brought to it's new home in the Hampton's on Long Island. New York. were it lived a pampered. glamorous life. It relocated 10 years ago to San Diego. where convertible's dream of living. :) This car has been phenomenal. it's a solid. fun car to drive with plenty of power. The successful bidder will assume the cost of the inspection and any repairs. if needed. should the car fail to meet California smog requirements. Locally. the cost of smog inspection is around $70. and $15 - $45 to have it re-inspected. The catalytic converter was replaced 2 years ago.
