Up for sale is my nice BMW 530i sedan. I purchasedthis car used from Grand Blanc BMW in Michigan about 4 years ago with 64k miles on it, nd a copy of the service history prior to my ownership. It has served me very well as a daily driver for over 100k miles, nd has been maintained by Nikolas Motorsport, n independent certified BMW repair facility in Sylvan Lake, I. A copy of all service records will be availableto the next owner. The car is accident free and drives very tight. Thesweet inline 6 cylinder motor is extremelysmooth and refined. Maintenance historyduring my ownership (service records available):
- Synthetic oil changes every 5-7k miles
- New Battery (January 2012 - 77k miles)
- NewFan Clutch and Auxiliary Fan(June 2012 - 87k miles)
- New starter (July 2012 - 91k miles)
- Replaced Oil Separator (CCV) with Cold Climate Kit / Resealed Oil Filter Housing(Nov 2012 - 104k miles)
- Replaced Left Rear Ball Joint(March 2013 - 116k miles)
- Replaced Valve Cover Gasket / Replaced Spark Plugs(April 2013 - 120k miles)
- Replaced Rear Pads/Rotors - ReplacedDifferential Fluid - Replaced Fuel Filter(Nov 2013 - 137k miles)
- Replaced Front Struts / Thrust Arm Bushings / Left Sway Bar(April 2014 - 149k miles)
- Replaced Radiator(May 2014 - 150k miles)
- Replaced Dashboard Bulbs(June 2014 - 153k miles)
- Replace All Four Tires - Replaced Right Rear Toe Link - 4-wheel Alignment(September 2014 - 160k miles)
- Replaced DISA Valve(November 2014 - 167k miles)
- Replaced Rear Tail Lights and Connectors(December 2014 - 170k miles)
- Replaced Light Control Module (LCM)(May 2015 - 174k miles)
- The torque converter triggers the Service Engine light to come on. This has been going on for the last 90k miles. The torque converter still engagesas testing has shown while driving a steady speed. I talked to my mechanic atNikolas Motorsportabout it, nd he said I could get the transmission oil changed which MAY make the light go away, r he said some clients just leave it and never have an issue. These cars have the "sealed for life" transmissions per BMW and the transmission has always shifted very well since I've owned it, o I've left it alone for now.
- I replaced the front brakes and rotorslast fall, owever they've recently developed aslight vibration when stopping. It's very subtle and the car stops extremely well. The rotors were OEM replacements purchasedfrom Auto Zone and are still under warranty, owever I haven't had the time to pull them off and exchange them.
- Nikolas Motorsport has recommended the drive belts and brake fluid be replaced in the near future.
