After starring at the 2011 SEMA show in Las Vega, p-e worked with Moton and COBB to make sure the car could perform as well as it looked. The car spent countless hours on the dyno and on road-courses at Summit Point and at Monticello (only 2 total weekends of track-time). It now sports a track-tuned suspension and about 400 hp and an almost instantaneous 400 foot pounds of torque.
Pro Racing Driver, osh Hurly, roclaimed that “ [Steve's 1M is]...truly a blast… there are a lot of cars out there with tons of power, ut very few have drivable power, et alone cars with brake and suspension modifications that allow them to use the increased power… we were going as quick at the end of the straight as a McLaren MP 4-12 C…. Chassis balance was excellent… very neutral for a street based car, nd I was able to induce either more understeer or oversteer depending on what I needed for a specific corner. It is truly rare to see a tuner car that pays attention to this. The ride was not overly stiff, ut was done properly with enough roll to allow the car to grip….Brakes were also another strong suit [Performance Friction Z-Rated BBK], consistently progressive with a good release... allowed us to carry large amounts of entry speed…. the whole car reminded me of driving a much more expensive ride…. Just a few weeks later I was blasting around the same track in an AMG C63 Black and your car was quicker everywhere… truly impressive”.
While a true track-beast, he car is fully street-legal, omfortable to drive, nd draws a drooling crowd everywhere it goes. In fact, t the one major car show the car was entered in, -Fest (2012), t won best in show. The car comes complete with emissions legal catted exhaust, set of catless-downpipes for track use, orgeline wheels, he original OEM wheels and street-tires, nd a host of other parts as well.
