In 1997 my college room mate purchased this car as an occasional vehicle for the summer months of enjoyment driving with his wife. Being a small business owner he had his corporation purchase the car he ordered and took it home and placed it in his garage. Being the fifth vehicle owned by the corporation he used it sparingly, erviced it regularly and maintained it without regard to cost. If the dealer suggested new tires, ecause of age, e immediately had original equipment replacements installed, nd these were specified as 'Continental' brand as that is what the factory provided new. This car has the rare and optional BMW performance exhaust and it was 'dealer' installed immediately after delivery. The photos reveal a perfect car in every sense of the word. There are no disappointments and the vehicle is virtually new. The flannel back window cover has kept the material clear and without a single scratch. There is no need to look for rust as the car was never driven in either rain or snow. There are no nicks or paint imperfections and the factory paint is as it left the factory as the car is not only garaged but also covered to protect it from UV light. View the photos of the tires and see that the alloy rims are flawless. All items work perfectly as they did when they left the factory; the gauges, he A/C, he engine, he transmission, nd the power windows operate flawlessly. View the interior; it appears to have never been sat in. The carpets have always been protected and the original canvass top appears to have never been lowered. When we were in college in Oklahoma, ver 50 years ago, e was fastidious about his cars back then and his attention to detail in maintaining his BMW today is without parallel.
