What a beautiful car! I loved this car from the moment I set eyes on it. Black paint, luminum wheels, lack interior with black trim accents. Extremely well taken care of and it shows in the current condition. What a blast to drive and I get a lot of looks in this car too! I purchased this car a few months ago with a blown engine. I replaced the engine with a used one, ileage unknown from a BMW enthusiast I know (was sitting in his garage collecting dust). I replaced the oe radio with a new unit that has bluetooth and cd player. Replaced rear lower control arms (towtruck bent them). Originally was not sure about the suspension, s I have never driven a lowered vehicle before. I am soooo impressed at how well it handles and how comfortable it is to drive. I have put about a thousand miles on it since the engine replacement and most of it commuting miles. I really hate to let this vehicle go, ut I make my extra money in buying and selling vehicles...
Below I have listed the good and the not so good, rying to remain impartial.
The good;
Nice E46 M3 CSL Sport package (non-oe) wheels, it 225/45/R18 tires. Non staggered so you can rotate them!
Really nice lowered suspension kit (does not rub wheels or bottom out, nd comfortable to drive long distances!)
M-sport trim accents
Nice smoke fog lights, ail lights, nd the front turn signals look new too
Newly installed Pioneer radio headunit with;
single disc cd player
bluetooth compatibility
Sirius XM compatibility
front usb port
The not so good;
Paintjob is not good, nd both rear doors have dings on them
Weather seals all around are worn/dried out
The display does not light up
The a/c does not work, ut doesn't leak refrigerant.
Adapter cable needed for fm to work with radio (never got around to doing it)
Gear selector works fine just worn
Tires are worn out (very likely new tires will be installed by the time this is sold, entioned just in case)
Passenger side locks work manually but not electrically (not sure if its a setting that can be changed, river side work normally)
The title is signed. The DMV bill of sale paperwork has been filled out with a blank purchaser as well. So all the paperwork is in order to take to the DMV and have transferred into your name. The registration has been paid in CA but will not smog due to a "bank 2 pre-cat O2 sensor" setting a check engine light. Easy fix but haven't had the time just yet to replace sensor. No other emissions codes set in the 1,000 or so miles I put on it. Would prefer to sell outside of CA and avoid the smog altogether.
The buyer will be responsible for pick up or shipping and any/all associated fees. The buyer will be responsible for any DMV paperwork and getting title and registration in order. The buyer is responsible for any and all taxes and other fees for the vehicle upon purchase.
