This BMW 3.0 CS was partially restored in 2005. It received new Silver paint and while it was originally a gold car, he transformation was very complete and there is no evidence of the color change. The seats and door panels were redone in a correct Navy Blue (originally tan) to match the silver exterior. A new Nardi steering wheel was added at this time. The engine runs very well, he A/C blows cold and while it was originally equipped with an automatic transmission it is now fitted with a 5 speed Getrag manual transmission.
Only by decoding the data tag would you know this car is not presented as it was born. The engine is original to the car and all body panels look accident free. This BMW spent its entire life between southern California and Arizona. There are some minor bubbles shown in the photos that were there when we last sold the car in 2010, ut they have not progressed. We must assume there is a bit of rust under the paint at those locations. As you can see from the photos of the bottom of the car, here is no apparent rust in the floors, runk or wheel wells. We do of course recommend that you or an agent of yours inspect the car before purchasing.
