Here is the rare and fun to drive 1997 BMW Z3 1.9 Roadster. The most trouble free bullet proof drive train combination. Not uncommon to find these cars in the 200,000 plus mile range. This one just broke 55,000. Jet Black with a Tan convertible top and and tan leather interior. 5 speed manual / stick.

This is a '97 Z3 1.9 retrofitted with oem roll bars. Because of legal issues roll bars did not become standard equipment until the '98 edition. The visual appeal speaks for itself but in a 4 cylinder vehicle with a speedometer capable of clocking 150 mph speeds its just common sense. If the Z3 gives an impression of luxury it is because BMW went all out. There are a lot look alikes out there but only one of them was designed by bmw's motorcycle engineering division. This little roadster not only screams for attention and excitement---- it delivers. It hugs you like a second skin without ever feeling cramped. Body is straight. The car has 1 tiny scratch on driver door. And a paint chip on rearleft fender lip, ee pictures.

All vital components are in full working order and should provide very reliable service.

The body on this car is straight it has never been crashed or in an accident. However it has been bumped and touched so bumpers were redone and color matched in 2011.
ALL SERVICE UP TO DATE
It needs nothing and runs very well. I change the oil every 3,000 miles.
