Up for grabs is a Flawless 2005 E46 M3 6spd (A MUST SEE), his isn't my main car and more of a weekend baby, lthough I have driven it for months before as a daily car, ut I have invested some real money in it recently and have been babying it since, ts in excellent condition for its age with no noises, lunks, queaks, eaks, ents or drama of any kind and has many perks that make it very different than almost any other M3 of its era, nd they are as follows
Suspension:
Brand New Power-Flex Polyurethane Bushings for the following:
*Front Lower Control Arms (both sides).
*Front & Rear Sway Bars Bushings.
*Rear Upper & Lower Control Arm Bushings (both sides).
*Rear Subframe Bushings (which is a big known issue with this model, 1500 Ticket by itself).
*Rear Differential Mounts.
Brand New Motor & Transmission Mounts (Genuine BMW Parts).
Brand New Rear Struts (Genuine BMW Parts).
Brand New Front & Rear Stabilizing Bars (Genuine BMW Parts).
Upgraded (H&R) Front & Rear Sway bars (Reduces Body Roll Big Time!).
Upgraded Ultra Racing Strut Bar (Reduces Body Roll).
So it's tighter and a lil stiffer than even a brand new one but still comfortable enough for an enthusiast's everyday drive. FYI (Car is Not Lowered and is Still Sitting on Stock Springs Which Feels Right!).
Power-train, ooling & Performance:
Rebuilt & Improved Vanos unit with New & Upgraded Seals, earings, olenoid Pack & New Camshaft Bolt, his is a Known Nightmare with Material Design Flaws from BMW in This Particular Model from 2001-2006, hich causes the seals to fail causing Major Power Loss and is the case for almost every M3 in those years with more than 40K Miles on it, o unless if you or a previous owner had spent about 3-5k to correct this problem with upgraded seals and bearing that last 3 times as long by (Beisan Systems & Dr Vanos), hen you haven't really experienced what a Crisp E46 M3 Really Feels like, can't say enough on how this expensive step woke up the car and made it feel like a True Sports Car so it was Worth Every Penny of the $3400 I spent.
K&N CA Carb legal Intake.
Had a Valve Adjustments job done using all the proper Genuine Shims by BMW Master-tech (Required every 35k miles and I only put 900 miles since then) also another expensive procedure!.
Brand New Cooling System (All Genuine BMW Parts)
*Radiator, an & Fan Clutch.
*Thermostat & Temp Sensor.
*Water Pump / AC Belts / Tensioners.
Brand New Genuine BMW Clutch Assembly: $2100 Job by itself
*Dual Mass Flywheel / Clutch Disk / Throw-out Bearings / Pilot Bearings / Seals & Gaskets.
Brand New Axleback Megan Racing Bolt-On Exhaust System, agnaFlow Resonator W/True X Pipe Technology in Mid-Section (Car Sounds Beautiful, ery Little Rasp & Almost No Drone).
Brand New Genuine Starter.
Recently Serviced the Transmission using Fresh Genuine BMW Fluid. $67 / quart
Upgraded Differential:
*Genuine BMW Motorsports Bearings, ing & Pinion 3.91 Ratio (3 Month Special Order From Germany) also used Genuine BMW Friction Blend Fluid ($1200 Job + $960 for the upgraded ring & pinion)
Exterior:
*Overall I would say its about a solid 8.5 if not 9 out of 10.
*Refinished Original 19" Wheels with an elegant Brushed Finish Face and Black Background (Not a Single Scratch & Looks Beautiful)
*Recently Installed a Set of Continental DWS Extreme Contact Tires (Expensive but Worth It)
*Installed 6k White CCFL Hallo Rings (Looks Beautiful & Original)
*Replaced The Headlight Lens For a Cleaner / Newer Look (Genuine Bosch)
*Installed a new Foglight Assembly W/ 5K Xenon Kit to Match the Headlights Exactly!
*Had the Calipers Professionally Powdercoated In Red
*Thermal / UV / IR Pentagon Window Film, edium Shade and 70% for the Front Windshield for Heat/IR/UV Protection But The Windshield Still Looks Clear (this was $600, ot the $150 stuff)
Interior:
*Replaced Entire Center Consol W/ New Cup Holder & Ash Try (Old one was commonly scratched up)
*Installed an Up to date 7" Touch Screen Nav System Designed to Look and Fit This Particular Model Like a Factory One, t comes with Navigation, luetooth Calling / Streaming and It Runs On Android Like a Tablet (which is sweet because you can actually download certain apps on it and run them offline, have the App Torque installed on it and it syncs with an OBDII Module that I have installed as well Via Bluetooth and it Can Read The Canbus System, ou can actually get all sorts of readouts In Real-time such as RPM, peed, ngine Load, oolant Temp, ead & Reset Check Engine Codes, il Temp, ntake Temp, oltage, -60 Time, eal-time HP & Torque, tc. Needless to Say, ts Pretty Awesome!)
*Installed an M ZHP Weighted & Illuminated Shift Knob ($250 just by itself, nd makes a difference)
*Installed a Highend Short Shifter Kit Which Makes This Car More Of a Pleasure to Drive!
This Car is A True Gem and a Real Find for Any Sports Car Enthusiast Especially a BMW E46 M3 One, ou Must See and Drive the Car to Really Appreciate it, have invested some Real Money in this car probably a lot more than I should have considering that it was driving and looking fine to your average car owner plus it felt like most M3s of its age before I put all that work to it, ry to test drive a random CLEAN M3 on the day you come test drive this one, he difference will blow you away, ts like a completely different car from the feel of it and overall car experience, t makes other M3s with half the millage feel like a normal NON MPower BMW.
if you are in the market for just a used sports car under 15K then respectfully this isn't the car for you, ut if you are a true enthusiast looking for Drama Free / Proper Gentlemen's Sports Car and can truly appreciate and recognize quality then by all means, ets talk business
The car unfortunately has a Salvaged Title prior to my ownership to it which I understand takes away from its credibility & Value, ut it Has Zero Problems / No Frame Damage! with Lots of healthy years left in it.
Car in this condition with that kind of investment would sell for well over 21K, m only asking $16900 which doesn't really justify what I had just got done spending on it, just have a sudden shift in my life that obligates me to seek another good home for my baby here
