There are cameras all over the car, ncluding the front bumper so you can see around corners, ith the over-the-top "satellite view" being the coolest party trick!
It has every safety feature including Active Accident Avoidance, ith cameras and radar in the front, t's able to warn you if you're about to hit another car, edestrian, r animal. It will then pre-charge the brakes so they're 1mm away from the rotor, eady for you to hit them. And, f course, t will then hit the brakes for you if an accident is immanent. You can change the setting for this to be extra-active or turn it all the way down/off if you think you can handle things on your own
Of course there's the lane departure monitoring and blind-spot, ct. All of these can be turned on/off with the buttons under the light controls.
The tires have very good amounts of tread. The brakes are very good and come with free pad and rotor replacements up to 5 year/50,000 miles.
The car comes with BMW's 5 year/50,000 mile Warranty and Free Maintenance program.
The car was ordered as a European delivery and was picked up in BMW Welt, unich, ermany. This is where I asked that the BMW M Sport Brembo Brakes be installed. Those brakes were not an option in the US when I ordered the car and I just checked, hey're still not an option today.
