Description

1989 BMW 320iTouringLocated in Austin TX
237,XXX KILOMETERS (which is 140,XXX miles)- will vary from daily use.
All European/German spec car. Left Hand Drive
M20 6 Cyl engine (strong)
5 Speed Manual (shifts great, o grinding, erforms as it should)
Diamond Schwarz (Metallic Black)
Black Interior/Grey Carpet
Perfect Dash
Crank Sunroof
Factory AC delete
Power Front windows, rank rear (Factory spec)
Brand new headliner, ll Black
Sport, spoke steering wheel (Sunburned top)
Lowered on Eibach Springs
AC Schnitzer single wiper conversion
AC Schnitzer Header (sounds very nice)
Aftermarket in dash CD headunit. Aux output works with IPhone
Leather M Shift knob
Aftermarket white face gauges with chrome rings
Recaro D&W seats. Best I can tell is they are the Speed seat with tiny debossed D&W logo. Good condition except the drives bolster is sort of "squished". Not ripped, ut the foam has collapsed some. (I can swap in very nice condition stock seats with Grey cloth tops if the buyer wants)
K&N Air filer
Strut tower brace
Wheel options: 14" Bottlecaps or 15" Euroweaves (Euro only? Like the e30 M3 wheels, ut 4 lug) Bottlecaps have 4 good matching tires, nd matching spare. Euroweaves have 4 mismatched tires, ne with a very slow leak. Matching spare has totally ruined tire. You can get home(anywhere) on the Euroweaves no problem, xcept that the spare is useless. Hence the car is on 14"s now. BOTH INCLUDED WITH BUY IT NOW.
Included but not installed:
Match Painted Eyelids
All Import paperwork provided, lthough it has already been registered and titled in 2 US states. Current inspection and Registration in Texas. Original German Title with previous owners modifications listed. Some service paperwork from Germany, ut all in German. Service by me is Belts/ Oil changes/Coolant
The Bad:
The car does have some rust, ut nothing that stopped me from buying it. Has rolled fenders, o some rust in those. Behind the rear wheels in the lower valence. a touch on the tailgate (bubbles), ubbles on sun roof. Worst spot is under the rear window (see pics). I say worst because it is the most visible and I assume the biggest hassle to fix. As far as I know its all sheet metal, ot structural.
Steering wheel is Sunburned on top with 2 tears. I have a German Aftermarket wheel if interested (no hub though)
Driver Seat bolster is worn, ot ripped
Rear Wiper in-op. Never really investigated.
Wiper fluid squirters function, ut are weak. Probably clogged nozzles, ever investigated.
Blower fan is noisy unless its at full blast (4)
Drivers door lock does not work with the key, ut whole car functions with the key fob, o not a big deal during daily use.
Not really deserving of the Bad category, ut the paint looks nice in pics but there are dings and scrapes for sure. Roof is pretty bad, cratch wise. Strange way to be worn.
This was a dream car for me and the only reason I am selling is I found an AC installed car, nd bought that one also. No need for 2 Tourings right now. Of the two this one handles better and feels stronger, ngine wise. Price is LESS than what I paid for it, nd I have improved the car since I got it. You can find RHD automatics for less and Every LHD Manual will fetch more. I think its a fair price to move it on to the next enthusiast. I would not hesitate to drive anywhere in the country.
