Description

Relisting this item because the previous high bidder did not contact me to pay. If you intend to bid on this item, lease get as much information as you need to feel confident bidding. Do not bid if you do not intend to pay. Because of the delay from the previous high bidder not paying, his vehicle is now out of inspection.
For my first sale here on Ebay, have my 1993 Cadillac Eldorado that I actually purchased from Ebay a few years back. It is time to upgrade. This vehicle is in need of some work and will therefor be offered on NO RESERVE for a stupidly low starting price. If you are looking for a decent overall car to tinker with and fix up, his is the car for you. Pay close attention to the next section where I go through its condition and defects.
This vehicle is NOT IMMEDIATELY INSPECTABLE per PA standards. I had it diagnosed at the local Cadillac dealership to get a proper list of needed repairs/maintenance prior to passing a PA vehicle inspection. The horn, urn signals, nd cruise do not work. This is likely a wiring issue in the multi-function switch and the steering block. I lack the tools to remove the steering wheel to properly fix this. The mufflers both need replaced. The windshield is scratched and has a very small chip in the center. According to the dealership, here is fluid in the fog-lamp that needs to be fixed. The dealership also mentioned that the engine block could do to be split and resealed to prevent oil leakage, ut there is not an active oil leak. The tires are in fair condition. All four break pads/rotors should be replaced. The transmission shifts rough between 40 and 60mph. This is likely the transmission control unit, sensor that tells the vehicle when to shift. I replaced the air conditioning compressor two years back, ut never replaced the hoses. The air conditioner hoses need to be replaced and the system charged to work, ut heat blows hot. Despite all these issues, he starts up good and true every time. Nothing can seem to kill this car. They certainly don't make them hardy like this anymore.
Cosmetically, here is a dent in the rear panel (driver's side) just behind the door courtesy of the previous owner. The pain shows signs of age, specially on the roof; though this is not hateful for a 20+ year-old car. The trim on the rear window needs replaced, ut this does not cause any water leakage so I didn't bother to fix it. The wheels are scratched on the passenger side. The driver's door interior panel is loose from age. Interior, he vehicle is actually very nice. the rear seats are in great condition. The front seats show sign of age but are in overall good condition. The headliner is tight and unfaded. The new radio plays well, nd the speakers sound great. The vehicle was not smoked in.
This Cadillac has been my workhorse vehicle up and down the east coast for the past several years and only ever needed simple maintenance up until now. Many a good mile was driven and many more are possible with some TLC. Buyer is responsible for shipping if out of state. Depending on distance, am willing to drive the vehicle to a buyer. This is a case by case basis though depending on how far travel would be. Payment in cash, ank-to-bank wire, ertified check or money order. I am very wary of personal checks. I can accept one only on case-by-case basis and will only release the title when funds clear. Because of how cheap the final price will likely be, t should be no trouble to get cash or certified funds. This is my first listing, o if there is something I should have covered or something specific you'd like to know about, eel free to contact me through Ebay and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Upon completion of auction, lease have deposit prepared within 24 hours via PayPal. The rest of payment is due within 7 days. I will contact the winning bidder within 12 hours of completion of auction. As a courtesy to any buyer, will detail the vehicle and ensure a full tank of fuel for pick-up/delivery.
EDIT 1: I forgot to mention a couple things earlier. The driver's door decorative trim (exterior) is gone--needs replaced. A sensor for the ride control system needs replaced and causes a "service ride control" code to hit--I've never noticed any ill effects from this; the vehicle is still one smooth ride. The "security" warning light is illuminated because the previous owner had the car re-keyed, ut that is not an inspectable item nor does it affect the car in any way. Because of the project nature of this vehicle, encourage prospective buyers to come see the vehicle and see if it's the car for you. I have ample time all week to schedule times for viewings/test drives and am willing to travel (within reason) to show the vehicle. Simply drop me a message.
