This is absolutely a drop dead gorgeous BMW. She makes a great daily driver and gets great fuel mileage in economy mode. Switch to Sport Mode and she transforms into a turbo charged rumbling beast. I know the previous owner and he is very meticulous when it comes to the maintenance of his vehicles. In fact, hen this 335 needed a second gear synchronizer, e just told the BMW dealer to drop a brand new tranny in her which is still under warranty. The miles are pampered miles and the car looks like it just drove off of the show room floor. I love the red stitching on the leather and the red trim along the dash. The heads up display is very cool and the harmon kardon sound system is awesome. I am also listing her for sale locally and to be honest, doubt that she will last long enough for this auction to end. Good luck in becoming the very lucky new owner and call me with any questions. 865-258-9541-Edward
I have done some research and found details on the service history of this 335. In September of 2014 at 54,000 miles the BMW was bought back by BMW in California. California has very strict buy back laws. The notes say that the engine light could not be cleared. The notes also say that the Cylinder head was replaced to resolve the problem. This work was completed by BMW and the car was returned to the market. It has since been driven 16,000 miles over the course of a year without incident. Basically, MW fixed the problem. More recently, MW replaced the Transmission which I have a receipt for. This repair was not related to the buy back issue. It needed a synchronizer and the owner opted to buy a new transmission. This new transmission has a BMW warranty.
I believe that both of these repairs are very positive for the health and longevity of the car. You are getting a 70,000 mile car that had a top end rebuild at 54,000 miles and passed the BMW manufacturer inspection and deemed tip top. You are also getting a 70,000 mile car with a new transmission that was replaced by BMW and given a BMW warranty.
The smart customer will identify the tremendous advantages of this deal. However, onsidering that it was a Manufacturer buy back, am dropping the price to BELOW WHOLESALE.
