Up for auction is a 1974 BMW 2002 tii with BBS wheels. This is a true tii with the 278 VIN and fuel injected engine. I think the engine may be out of another tii. I have owned it for about two years. This was last inspected in 2011. The engine starts and runs. Transmission shifts into gears and the clutch pedal feels normal. I haven't driven it down the road. The gas pedal is disconnected and it has no brakes. The floor pans and rocker panels are rusty, ut the rear unibody or suspension supports are solid. The windshield has a crack. It comes with new BMW factory rocker panels, new tii trunk emblem, ew hood insulation and a Bavarian Autosport car cover. Use the pictures to judge condition. I can send more pictures if needed. Please feel free to ask any questions. I think this car has a lot of potential.
I believe the original paint color was Fjord blue.
The car can be viewed in person at any time.
*The state of Maine will not issue a title for a vehicle older than 1995. This car is being sold with a notarized bill of sale and current registration. This should be what you need to acquire a title for your state. Please verify with your local DMV.
