This was the sleeping giant of BMW’s sedans. Back then $60,000 bought you 150mph with incredible handling and power but in a grey business suit. I lusted after this car but wanted one in perfect condition. I have driven it and it shows a few dings and wear points but it is still smooth and wonderful.

This is probably one of the most comfortable fast cars I have owned. Great lumbar support, reat handling and great mileage. You can drive it to work every day or you can push its limits. You can also shift it up and down like a clutchless manual or let it shift itself.

It is not a stop light tire burner but a stable high speed touring machine that only gets going after around 50mph. But with 325 ft/lbs of torquethe famous 4.4L BMW V8 just keeps on going.

I have taken good care of this car, t has new front tires, put a new alternator in and replaced the top gaskets. It has been serviced faithfully and I even replaced the useless cupholders. The rear window shades work fine as does the radio and cassette player.

The paint is original and beautiful and the mechanics are all perfect. The plastic covers for the high powered lights show a little frosting but that can be polished back up.

THE BAD: The electronic display is missing some of the LEDs, he plastic on the drivers side visor recently broke and will not hold it up properly- this is an easy replacement of that part and there a few scuffs in the paint (pictured).

YOU NEED THIS CAR IF...you are a high school student that needs a safe, eliable first car, ou need a commuter car that isn't too expensive, ou enjoy a solid reliable fast sedan.
