This is a like new condition 2003 BMW 525iT Touring Sport Wagon. I purchased it a few weeks back in the south (Little Rock, R) and brought it back to Chicago. After a few weeks of driving have decided that their is no way this is ever going to be close to my much faster Porsche 911, ven though people have suggested the E39 is the best all around sport car. This is my 4th car so I have too many.
My plan was to drop a LS3 engine in this, ut research post purchase leads me to believe it is too much hassle for the effort and costs.
Car is nearly perfect in and out with only 69K miles. That is not a misprint - 69K miles. It is sterling grey (paint code 427) with excellent condition grey interior.
You will not find an equivalent condition BMW Wagon in the north. I looked for 3 months and found this cream puff. The passenger side rear door has a few small dings that can be removed by dentless paint repair. There are a few small paint imperfections on the body that can be touched up. I did my best to capture the imperfections in my pictures. The sunroof does rattle on the highway but there is a know DIY fix online. The rear cargo area cargo has a few stains that came with it. The cup holders are broken which is very common. I think that is all of the issue. Email me for the Carfax link.
Everyone thinks the car is new.
