Selling a BMW 740i sport in imola red with black leather interior. A two owner vehicle with the first owner being BMW corporate and then it was purchased as a certified pre-owned in October 2002

As you well know, his is a very rare color for this car and I believe only 7 or so were ever sold in the States in that color combination with the wide Navigation system in 2001. This California car needs to go to a BMW enthusiast that will really appreciate a nice E38 Sport and will baby it like I have.

The car has always been professionally maintained and is in excellent shape, uper clean in and out. The interior is incredible with immaculate leather.

All service records are available. The last major work done was a rebuilt transmission just over two years ago and as recently as two week ago, he alternator was replaced.

The sport package included a lower, ore responsive suspension, igger M-Parallel staggered forged wheels (with matching full size spare) Shadowline exterior trim, teptronic shiftable 5-speed automatic transmission, quicker final drive ratio, ontour 18 way adjustable sport seats with 3 driver’s memory settings, thicker 3-spoke M-Sport steering wheel, beefier exhaust note, nd a few other minor details.

Things that are not perfect.

1. The rear window tinting needs replacing due to some bubbling

2. Minor rock chips and some curb damage on wheels
3. Rock chip on the lower corneron the driver side windshield (barely noticeable) and the upper trim cracking.

4. No burnt pixel in either instrument cluster or NAV but the mileage reading is dim due to a defective bulb

This is the last year of the E38 model and was told that only 7 were made in 2001 with the Imola red exterior / black interior and BMW factory installed wide screen Navigation system.
