1999 BMW 328i Convertible
Selling our BMW, t is a vehicle my parents use when visiting Florida, o it sit's in the garage for months at a time before use. They are getting older, nd getting in and out of the low car is not easy on my dad. So, ime for a more appropriate car.I bought the car 5-6 years ago with about 50,000 miles, have been trying to find that exact amount, ut it will probably show on the carfax. I purchased from a pilot that lived in Ft Lauderdale area who didn't drive it much either, ut it was always garaged.

List of "issues":As stated in condition, he car isn't perfect, t has some minor dings, cratches, tc. But looks great for 17 years old!Interior is the same, t isn't perfect, ut is in really good condition. The only wear you really may notice is the front seats on some of the leather.The speakers must be a low quality, f you like to listen to music loudly, would replace them.
I noticed a couple years ago that when the car is cold and when backing up there is a rattle. I took to a BMW shop, nd they said it has something to do with the catalytic converter, nd it wasn't worth doing anything to. It doesn't do it when the car has been running already. Again, mall thing, ut trying to be detailed here.
The convertible top works fine, ou must help it while it is going up and down as the elastic straps are original. But it literally takes a few seconds to help it while you remain in the drivers seat. So, t's of little inconvenience.If you were putting the top down daily, ou may want to have some work done to replace the elastic in the top. But for how often we put it down, t has worked out great. It does NOT leak water, ery good top.
Ok, think I covered everything, ut if you have questions, lease ask. From looking around, do think this is one of the best you will find for the year and model. Great summer car, eliable for long trips. Engine is BMW! BUT, here is NO warranty or implied warranty. Sold "AS IS". This is a personal vehicle, nd not a purchase through the dealer.
Lastly, will be out of town at the end of the auction on Friday and Saturday. So, f you don't hear from me, will be back early Sunday morning. So the vehicle will not be able to be picked up until then, unday May 1st.
