Up for sale is a beautiful 1986 BMW 325e with the well known andsoughtafter E30 engine. This vehicle has been owned by me for the last three years and has been a fantastic daily driver. I have maintained the vehicle well and have had only a highly qualified mechanic whospecializesin these cars perform all of the work that has been done during my ownership. I have loved this car and still do love this car, ut I have a couple other vehicles as well and cannot justify keeping this one right now. It is an incredibly fun car to drive.
All in all, he car is in great condition for its age. The Florida sun has finally gotten to some areas of the paint but its not terrible yet. The interior is also in very good condition with minimal wear. All of the upholstery and vinyl is in fantastic condition. No rips, urn marks, mells, tc. The dash does have some wear and unfortunately someone did crack part of the dash in an unsuccessful attempt to steal the cd player. You can see what I am referring to in the pictures. I had plans to replace the dash, ince its not a terrible expense, owever I have decided to go ahead and sell. The other issue regarding the interior is that a valet during a hospital visit broke the emergency brake. While very frustrating, his does not affect the performance of the car whatsoever so I never felt the need to replace it. I've also never used an emergency brake in my life. I always put the vehicle in gear when parked.
I have had quite a bit of work done to the car to the point where it almost doesn't need anything else for a long time to be a fantastically reliable daily driver. These things include...
Brand new clutch, n fact its barely been driven since it was replaced.Brand new brakes.Brand new tie rods.
Brand new ignition.
Brand new battery.Very new tires.Very new bushings.Very new fuel line.New coolant reservoir tank.
Almost all new belts.
Things that could still be fixed include...
Both windows will not roll down. Thankfully the sunroof is manual and works just fine. The relay switch for the blinkers, orn and windshield wipers seems to not want to stay plugged into the fuse box. So sometimes those things will go out. When you push on the relay switch, hey come right back on.
The odometer stopped working at 102k. I estimate that the car has around 150k on it now, ts possible thats even less than that.
I have done my best to describe the condition of the car both cosmetically and mechanically however the car is now 30 years old and there can always be surprises, ven for myself who has owned it for three years, ut all in all, he car has plenty of good life left in it and still have room left for restoration. These cars are getting harder and hard to come by in original condition.
