1988 E30 By Original Owner

I took delivery of this car in June 1988. I did a lot of traveling for work so it did not get driven much the first 5 years. It has been a terrific car. I had it serviced. I do not have complete service records as some were lost in moves. The distributor cap was replaced last year due to an occasional misfire - it was very hard to locate. Also the clutch master cylinder was replaced.
I did a small amount of cosmetic work last year. All of the paint is original with the exception of the lower right front bumper and the wing. The wing lost the clear coat because of water sitting in the concave part of the wing. The leather on one panel of the drivers seat was replaced. This is a common problem in BMWs, nd in fact a newer car (2006) was being repaired at the same time as mine. I had the interior thoroughly cleaned and treated, nd the outside detailed twice since the first job was not to my liking.
