2002 BMW M3 Convertible - Silver - LOW RESERVE!

For Sale - 2002 BMW M3 Convertible (E46 / S54)
Up for sale is a 2002 E46 M3 silver on grey interior. Car is in great shape (in my opinion) for it's age and mileage. Always garaged, lways dealer maintained and serviced. I'm kind of a car nut, nd bought this one for the iconic S54 motor, s well as the timeless styling of the M3. But, ith two in the garage, wo in the driveway, nd one in storage, his one has to go. But that just in time for summer.
GENERALCar is in great shape in my opinion. And I'm the type of person who waxes cars once a month, egardless of whether or not they've been driven much, nd cleans inside the gas tank lid, nd under the hood and trunk lids as well. I bought the car about two years ago from a local dealer, ho I believe bought it from it's original Owner. It was apparent that it had been garaged and only used as a nice weather car it's whole life, oth by mileage and condition. I've used it in the same fashion since.... although with the windscreen and heated seats, f the high's over 50, he top can be down without having to dress the part.

BODYThe body and paint are generally in good shape, ith no evidence of clearcoat fade, r rust of any kind. A few nicks and dings here or there on the paint and lower valences, ut nothing that bothers me. I don't like to say much about the body on a car, ecause the photos speak for themselves. MECHANICALIn 2014, noticed a ticking in the motor. Brought it to BMW, ho first thought it was the vanos, ut then couldn't figure it out. Ultimately, hey found some odd scoring on a cylinder head, nd the BMW North America actually paid for over $8,000 in work to rebuild the motor, espite the fact that it wasn't under warranty. No problem since. Just had it serviced, ew brakes and rotors, CM programmed, nd dyno-tuned by Powerhaus-Performance, o it's running great. They also put in a cold air intake, nd upgraded all the filters for me.
INTERIORInterior is in great shape as well. Although it could use new front carpet pads due to wear, he rest is as good as I've seen for a car with the mileage and age. No rips or tears on the leather, gain... always well cared for.
