If you have been looking for an exceptional E34 body style BMW 525i, this car may just be for you. There are not many left with any mileage in nearly 100% original condition that are 100% corrosion free, in nearly 100% flawless working order and come complete with absolutely everything you would have got upon delivery 22 years ago. First of all, aside from the new tires and newer battery, this car is completely original with no post factory paintwork, it still has the original glass in it. Secondly, the car has NEVER been modified, no custom 'performance' parts, no hacked in stereo systems or other electronics, not even any aftermarket window tinting. Thirdly, this car comes to you from one of THE kindest climates on the planet, the clean, dry southwest so there is absolutely no corrosion anywhere on the car, front to back, top to bottom. Finally, when you get a car from a person on a trade and not at an auction like many vehicles come from, you get alot of the original things the car came with, this one is by far the most complete E34 I have ever had. It comes with ALL of the original owners books, leather bound zip up case, both radio ID cards, original dealer cards, all supplemental books, leather samples, flashlight, keys (including the third 'valet' key, even the led light in the original master key still lights up!), security remotes, original floor mats, full sized original Michelin spare tire with all tools (plus an emergency roadside kit) AND the hardest piece of literature to get, the original window sticker! That is pretty remarkable. Now, that all being said, the car is not a '10 point' show winner, it is still 22 years of age but awfully impressive as you will see in the 90 photos below which I have taken many of the suspension and undercarriage. Many of the components have the original manufacturers decals and even some of the original 'chalk-markings' from assembly still remain, truly incredible.

The body of the car is clean and devoid of any major damage. There are no door dings, dents or major scratching. I have taken photos of each of the few areas I found to be less than perfect which include a handful of stone chips around and on the kidney grille, a couple of scuffs under the bumper on the front air-dam and also a small scuff on the passenger rear wheel well. The clear on the rear bumper cover is also ever so slightly faded, you can't even tell from 5 feet away and you will not detect that in the photos. All glass is original, all crystal clear and clean, even the original windshield which truthfully shows minimal aging and a couple of small knicks but does not have any excessive pitting or wiper wear, it looks good. All lights including the fog lamps are fully functional, two of the glass headlamp lenses have a stone chip but they are still sealed and fully operational, I did not notice any condensation inside. All trim, emblems and bodyside moldings etc. are in good shape and all there. Tires are brand new, less than 1500 miles, all factory wheels are intact and have all of the original center caps. To be fair, the rims do have a couple of small scuffs on the outer lip as to be expected but in very clean condition finish-wise and turn perfectly true, there is no shimmy or shake from the wheels in any way.

Inside, the car is remarkably intact, this car was definitely garaged as the are no splits in the dash pad, door panels are near mint, console has no warping and the seats are all intact with no cuts or seam separation from dryness. The car was owned by a non smoker so there is absolutley no foul or tobacco odors inside, it smells of that proper 'BMW leather' smell however if you look closely you will notice there are a very few micro sized burns on the felt by the drivers window so obviously someone may have lit up once or twice but I am super sensitive to cigarette odor and I 100% guarantee the car does have any tobacco odors. All the woodgrain is intact and shows well, the panel around the shifter shows a minimal amount of aging but all intact and actually looks really good comparative to most I have seen. The headliner is excellent as are the visors and the vanity mirror lights are operational. Carpets are clean as well and show no wear or stains, the factory floor mats have done their job to preserve that. Even the factory floor mats show wear more indicative of a car with less than half the miles of this one. You will find everything inside operational aside from the driver's side power seat which is 85% working, it will go in any direction but when you get the rear recline up to about an 80 degree angle, the outside left part of the seat will stick and the right side will keep inclining. Other than that I have found no other issues. A/C blows nice and cold, all interior lighting is operational, all power windows, sun roof, cruise control, even the radio works and sounds really nice.

Mechanically the car is solid. This car does NOT exhibit the typical 'shake' that some of the E34's quite commonly had but those were primarily the 8cyl models, this car is smooth. Engine sounds good with no abormal upper or lower end noises, transmission shifts nicely and it holds the road the way you would expect a world class European sedan to do so, nice and smooth. Brakes feel good, there is no shimmy or shake, it tracks straight down the highway and it is a pleasure to drive. Also, there are no warning lights on in the dash, the car does not run hot (even in stop-and-go traffic in 115 degree Phoenix heat). The oil change sticker says it is due now for an oil change so I figured that the new owner would likely want to have it serviced at their local shop so that will need to be done.

Do not miss an opportunity to own a very complete and truly honest car. This is not a 'Disney' car, meaning, there are no 'stories', no excuses and nothing to apologize for. I believe I have priced the car very fairly for what it is at $5950, not bad for a car that was close to $42000 new and remains as nice as it is but I will entertain reasonable offers from serious buyers. I am happy to assist with transport anywhere in North America (incl. AK and HI). Please, if you have any questions, feel free to call and ask me anything you would like prior to making an offer at (602)315-4055. Thank you for looking.
