BMW 325ix German Factory, E30 Rare, 1991

Amazing car, but needs more love than I can give it right now. Bought it from my Aunt when my Uncle passed 7 years ago. Regular oil changes (every 3-4 months) and significant investment over the past 7 years. Can provide full service history from 2 previous owners (including my Uncle). Lived in Hawaii with first owner, San Diego and then New York City.
Sadly, timing belt broke last weekend and engine needs to be rebuilt. No further diagnostics have been done to determine the extent of damage. I can't take this project on, so I have to sell. It was driving great just before. Such a fun car.

Odometer stopped about 5 years ago at 168,000 miles. I drive a max of 2,000 miles a year, so likely running at 180,000 miles now. Hard to be sure. Current NY State title omits mileage.
Power steering just replaced, new brakes this year. All interior is original and in pretty good condition. Original radio, speakers, seats, etc... The dashboard has a few cracks.
Tie rods and Axle boots should be replaced (been cracked for 4-5 years, but still have grease, so never became urgent to fix).
Wiring for automatic locks/windows is spotty (all still functional, but sometimes one lock or one window won't work for a couple days). AC is NOT functional. Speakers sounded great, but wiring went bad a couple years ago and I haven't fixed. I would expect that to be an easy fix.

Could use a paint job because there appear to be little spots of rust or paint damage. The sunroof has significant rust. I was about to replace it. I am not aware of rust in any other place.
Sorry for lack of interior / engine / front pictures. Was not intending to sell, so I had to comb through cell phone pics, since the car is about an hour away from me. The car is at a shop where it was towed to in Westchester County NY and I am in NYC. Purchaser has to pick up car upon purchase or arrange with shop for storage fees. THIS CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN. MUST BE TOWED OR PICKED UP.
I am super sad to have to give up the car, so hopefully it will find a good home with someone who can fix it up (the engine) and the cosmetic things I've been ignoring for years.
