I am selling my super clean, well-sorted 2000 540i M-Sport 6-speed. This car hasn't been in any accidents and still has all-original paint except for the bumpers, which were repainted due to rock chips (front) and fading (rear). The reason I am selling is that I am kicking my business into high-gear and unfortunately I can't afford to keep it. I am a BMW mechanic at the highly-regarded Avus Autosport in Glendale. I bought this car from a customer who spent over $8,000 in maintenance at the shop at about 171,000 miles. I have also done some work on it like new tires, oil change, differential and transmission oil change, brake/clutch fluid flush, removed clutch delay valve, new pollen filters, and left rear window regulator about 4,000 miles ago. I also just did another oil change since the mileage was almost due. I have driven it about 5,000 miles and recently took it on a road trip where it performed flawlessly. It has just passed smog and been detailed, and is ready for you to enjoy!

Maintenance just completed at 187,800 miles:- freshly clay barred, waxed, and detailed inside, outside, engine, and trunk- new Bosch windshield wipers- new front cupholders- oil/filter change (Motul 8100 XCess 5W40 with OEM Mahle filter)
Recent maintenance in July at 183,900 miles:- differential and transmission fluids changed (Redline synthetic)- brake/clutch fluid flush (Pentosin high performance fluid)- removed clutch delay valve (CDV)- oil/filter change (Motul 8100 XCess 5W40 with OEM Mahle filter)- pollen filters- driver's side rear window regulator- fixed dead pixels and light bulbs on instrument cluster- 5 new Sumitomo HTR-Z III tires (spare also changed)
Maintenance done at 171,000 miles:- new alternator- valley pan- valve cover gaskets- timing chain guides- timing chain- water pump- radiator expansion tank- belts/belt tensioners- coolant flush- auxiliary fan- driver's side window regulator- rear brake pads/rotors- rear ball joints- fuel filter
