Offered for an appreciating new owner is this rare classic 1977 BMW 320i two-door sedan!
Finished in original "fjord" blue metallic over black, this little 40 year-old classic 320i shows 149,XXX miles on its currently non-working six-digit odometer. The actual miles is estimated to be about 160,000. This "slicktop" [non-sunroof] E21 sports a great running inline four cylinder engine mated to the factory 4 speed manual transmission. It features working Blaupunkt radio, reclining bucket seats, manual windows and 13" alloy wheels with near new Toyo steel belted radial tires.

THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this 1977 BMW 320i is is in very good overall condition with a nice overall shine to the paint finish. The original alloy wheels are also in excellent condition with some fading in the dark center cap areas. Imperfections on the exterior include wear on the Roundel badges, some miscellaneous, nicks, scuffs and an isolated corrosion area at the base of the front windshield. Overall this is one VERY presentable and still handsome example of the marque..

THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos here, the interior of this classic BMW is in good to very good very ORIGINAL condition overall. The door panels are untouched, the original Blaupunkt am radio still works, the original loop carpeting is intact. Imperfections inside the car include: horn inop, a few dash cracks, beginning of seam slitting on the bottom of driver seats cushion, minor fading on the carpet, dash lights intermittent, dome light inop, instrument panel glass has light stress cracking and the rubber door moulding has some silicon sealant on the corner and the clock keeps perfect time only two times per day!

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This 1977 BMW starts, runs, shifts and brakes well with fairly solid suspension with responsive unassisted steering. Even at 40 years old it is still a pure and quite satisfying car to drive.
