Rust-Free, Dent-Free, Scratch-Free, doesn't burn oil, and unlike every other used 325 out there right now, ALL the (expensive) preventative maintenance is already done for you!
Perhaps more importantly, I'm NOT a dealer. I am selling a car here that I know top to bottom, a car that has been in my family since day one. Additionally, I have been on eBay since the late 90s, and as you can see here, my feedback, which is a combination of buyer AND seller feedback, is 100%.
You're looking at a 2004 BMW 325Xi Premium Cold-Weather Touring that's been so meticulously and thoroughly maintained my BMW dealer told me two weeks ago that it is one of the cleanest 325 models they've seen in over 10 years. Don't believe me? I have their vehicle service summary to prove it. I brought it in for the airbag recall, but like most BMW dealers these days, they put the car up on a hoist, then walked me out to it where I expected I'd receive a list of reasons why they weren't going to let me leave the dealership without dropping hundreds or thousands of dollars on repairs. They were under the hood, under the car, inside and out... they couldn't find anything wrong!
This 325Xi has been in my family since 2004 when my grandparents purchased it new, loaning it eventually to my aunt and uncle to drive, only to then sell it to me about three years ago. My grandparents are what we in the north call "snowbirds", meaning, in their case, that during the winter they live in California... so for the first 11 years of this vehicle's life, it never saw snow or salt. The wagon has always been dealer-serviced, although routine maintenance like oil changes was sometimes done by our family mechanics. Oil changes were always performed at or before the 6,000 mile mark with either Castrol Syntec or Mobil-1 Full Synthetic oil. Also important to note, we've only ever used premium fuel in this car.
With a new touchscreen AM/FM/CD/DVD/Navigation head unit featuring hands-free Bluetooth audio, along with iPod/iPhone/Android integration via its center console-mounted USB port, this vehicle offers modern BMW accoutermentsfor far less money, and in the words of my BMW service writer, "This car has a whole lotta life left to it. Definitely one of the nicest 325 models I've seen in over ten years."
You may notice this vehicle has a fair share of upgrades too. Well, the factory headlights started clouding-up on me, so I bought the new projector headlights you see, which makes all the difference at night. You'll also notice the awesome euro-spec 'Made in Germany' taillights, which again give this wagon the updated look it deserves. To compliment the lighting one step further, I also upgraded the fender side markers with a set that a little more closely matches the headlights and taillights. Even the shifter knob has been upgraded to one that is body color-matched to replace the old cracked wooden shifter, and the old obsolete rubber cellular antenna on the roof has been upgraded to a body color-matched shark fin, again, all in the name of aesthetics and style. When you take into account all the upgrades, as well as the de-badged rear hatch with upgraded X-Drive emblem, this wagon looks a lot more modern than it actually is. And hey, if amid all the upgrades there's something you don't like, I'm going to include all the original lighting in the sale of the vehicle too.
What's wrong with this car? Nothing. Literally nothing. This 325 is just back from a 2,000 mile road trip, and didn't skip a beat; I averaged 28.4MPG at 75MPH... that's better gas mileage than most NEW vehicles are getting! Best yet, I didn't burn a drop of oil, unusual for ANY BMW 2.5 liter! The usual wear and tear parts have been serviced, and the typical BMW 325 weak points have ALL recently been addressed, as you can see in the maintenance summary below. This is my daily driver- I've been putting 3,000-6,000 miles on it per month, and it hasn't let me down. Hell, I'm taking it on a 600 mile round trip this week to St. Louis-- if that doesn't tell you how reliable this vehicle is, then nothing will! I suppose you're wondering why, if there's nothing wrong with it, I would be selling it..? Well, after more than three years, my employer announced in January they will finally be providing me with a company car. Given this is the older of the two cars I own, I've elected to sell this one.
Next, on to maintenance...
Maintenance & Repairs performed within the last yearas follows (receipts included with sale):
Also included with the sale of the vehicle is a set of genuine WeatherTech (BMW branded) weatherproof floor mats, and WeatherTech (BMW branded) cargo liner, which make maintaining this vehicle even easier. You will also receive one key, all original documentation, owners manuals, etc., along with every receipt I have, in addition to the original 'Business CD' stereo, original taillights, and original sidemarkers.
It merits noting, this vehicle was involved in a less than MINOR frontal impact in Missouri back in 2013 while my grandmother was sitting at a red light and tapped the rear bumper of a car in front of her. There was NO damage to the car, none, merely a police report, and it's a shame this showed up on the vehicle history report at all. I suggest you check the car out--all the body parts are original, you won't be disappointed. Regarding ownership history, again, the vehicle history report shows I am the third owner, when in fact I am only the second- actually, the title was only transferred to my name as recently as last month.
I encourage any interested buyers to come and take a look at the vehicle, because then you'll only want it more. Should you have ANY questions, please feel free to give me a call @: (630) 667-4918 . This is a phenomenal vehicle, you'll love it!
