The 2015 BMW M4is the high-performance variant of the 4 Series coupe and convertible. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter I-6 with 425 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque that’s paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Fuel economy is decent for a performance-oriented vehicle at 17/26 mpg city/highway with the manual and 17/24 mpg with the automatic.
Acceleration in the 2015 BMW M4is effortless thanks to the twin-turbo inline-six, which has virtually no turbo lag and makes full torque from 1,800 rpm. This means power delivery is immediate thanks to the car’s responsive throttle especially in Sport+ mode. The M4’s unique suspension tuning, which is shared with the M3 sedan, gives the car impeccable handling and are engaging to drive on twisty roads or on a track. Ride quality, however, is firm even with the adjustable suspension in Comfort mode.
