1976 BMW 2002

This is a nice solid 1976 BMW 2002 that had a factory rebuilt engine installed about 20k miles ago. the engine runs perfectly starts first try runs smooth and is very quiet. no smoke at all. it runs like new. the transmission was rebuilt by the previous owner and shifts perfectly. I have all records for the car and original sales contract at Niello BMW in Sacramento. California. The car has always been in Northern California and has the original Blue license plates. No rust at all around the windows. or the front or rear shock/ strut towers. the subframes are excellent not beat up or rusted. The only rust on the car is a little at the lower edge of the pedal box. The car has a four speed manual transmission the shifts perfectly. the clutch engages about a third of the way out and the engine in this car is very quiet and smooth. The car has been unused for awhile so needs the brakes. center bearing etc to be checked out before becoming a daily driver. but runs great with no major problems. The factory smog equipment is still on the car and it comes with the original air cleaner (not shown) It is a solid original California car with very little rust. great daily driver or a solid original car to restore to car show condition.
