1976 BMW 2002 Base Coupe 2-Door 2.0L

1976 BMW 2002 series in excellent garage kept condition. CAR HISTORY:Originally in New Mexico for ten years. then purchased by Mr. Moss which was held in care of his garage for ten years and he actively restored it as well (some of his original paperwork included). then purchased by me Sept 2009- I have been actively restoring this beauty but had to pause my project for personal reasons. I enjoyed my time with the car and am sad to part ways with it. Would like to see it go to someone to finish restoring or enjoy this classic beauty!Currently registered as antique vehicle (QQ plates)Roughly 3. 00-4. 00 driven since purchased- has been stored in garage only. Was an automatic but AC was removed to replace with Getrag 5 series speed transmission. Currently no AC but shifts very well. This car now cruises and easy 80 mph at 3000 RPM and will still accelerate quickly to 90 mph by just pushing the pedal further - no vibrations or shimmies. Car is rust free and bubble free!!!Heat works great! Almost to well for my liking. I have kept up with the routine maintenance (oil changes. fluid. ext) here are some main restores I have made;- Repainted the exterior alpine white - Redid the interior- Maintained original BMW style with updated flair- Restored to three series rims and new tires -Original 2002 trim package on the exterior - Odometer recalibrated- Satellite radio installed. Has CD player and AUX jack to play iPods and iPhones. - Windshield washer reservoir replaced- Trunk redone and full size spare in rear well$1000. 00 Deposit to hold the car.
