I'm selling my 1971 Buick GS 455 stage 1 tribute. It runs great and is a lot of fun to cruise in and turns heads everywhere it goes! Here's the details. The engine was rebuilt last summer and the all the numbers on the engine say that its a stage one 455 from 1970. It does have the factory high compression pistons. forged rods as well. I've put about 1000 miles on it since the rebuild. I got it out this spring and the tranny went out. So it has a rebuilt th400 transmission in it with a 1 year warranty as of about 3 weeks ago. It also has new ujoints and a fresh balance on the drive shaft. The rear end is a 12 bolt cover with 3. 31 gears with a posi. The interior is very nice with a new head liner and all the gauges function even the factory clock does too! I would drive this car anywhere. now for the bad. the clear coat pealed on the very front point of the hood and the rear bumper is tweaked underneath by the left exhaust pipe. you can see them in the pics I have posted also included in the auction is an extra set of stage 1 455 heads to go with the car. Thanks and good luck bidding!
