Buick Electra 225 1961 Six Window Hardtop

1961 Buick Electra 225 with the 401 Wildcat 445 engine. I have a clear title in my name and I have the original key. This was the top car in the Buick line for 1961. It is the "Six Window Hardtop. " It is fully equipped with air-conditioning. power windows. power steering. power brakes. and power seats. It even has cigarette lighter in both rear door arm rests. All the glass is good. including the windshield. and the body is straight with very few problems. Please look closely at all of the photos. I will gladly help the shipper you select to ship the Buick anywhere in the world. The Buick was purchased by a grandfather. passed to his son. and then passed to his granddaughter. The car was painted. tuned up. and prepared for the granddaughter to drive to high school. The granddaughter didn't appreciate this classic Buick - so it sat and sat. It was last licensed in 1991. I was told that the car drove well. and all the power options worked properly when it was parked. I hooked a battery with jumpers cables. and easily turned the engine over. I have not started the car for fear of pulling old gas into the fuel pump and carburetor. I think it will start with a little tinkering. I brushed a thick layer of dust off of the air-cleaner and you can clearly read the "Wildcat 445" decal. The car rolls easily. I want the new owner to know exactly what they are getting. With this in mind. I will list the problem areas I have found. 1. The car was painted brown over twenty years ago. The Buick was originally white in color. 2. There is some old repair on the passenger's side rockers. Again. please look closely at the photos. The body is very straight. All of the doors and trunk align well. 3. The passenger's side hood hinge is broken. The hood opens and closes properly. and aligns well. but the hinge arm is broken. 4. The interior is tattered and will need work. The door panels look good. but the seat covers are worn out. and the dash pad is split. The interior is complete. 5. It is missing the spare tire. The trunk is dry and the original jack is in the trunk. 6. The lower body trim piece that runs along the rockers is not attached on the passenger's side.
