MERCEDES BENZ 1979 450SL

I don't know what they did to this car because when you step on the gas it justfly'ssparing no power.I drove plenty of 450SL's but never drove one as powerful.I recently drove it on a 350 mile trip some thruwindyroads through mountains and it handled like a true sports car giving no issues. You must take a trip like this, n this car to appreciate it's great engineering.This is a great candidate for restoration showing just over 50,000 miles on the odometer which gets stuck and and you have to push to reset but I believe this car gas low miles and is a diamond in the rough that deserves new paint and a dashboard job. The leather in the passenger side is cracking, rivers isOKthe rest of the interior is good. Original owners manual and service book with last records showing at 32 k miles. Body is good no rust with just a couple pebble dings and some paint chips and fade. Good tires new beltsmanicallysound all trim and lights are good soft topuninstructedRegistration is expired 2014 with 300$ dmv fees I have too many projects so I'm selling to the highest bidder.
