I built this car with daily driving in mind, t runs and drives great.It has a LX Block out of another 65 Riviera gran sport,originally a two four barrel carb motor, urrently has a single factory correct Carter 4bbl, actory Buick aluminum finned valve coversThen engine was taken to bare block, ored and decked, rand new factory 10.5/1 compression pistons, ew piston rings, earings, eals, tage 1 cam, tage one springs with swirl polished valves, omplete rotating assembly balanced, EI ignition, very external or internal engine part is new400 switch pitch transmission, aken down to housing, owder coated and completely rebuilt, lso rebuilt special option switch pitch torque converter (variable stall on throttle command)Two piece drive shaft rebuiltDifferential housing also torn down and powder coated, ebuilt.Custom aluminum radiator(Afco)Brake system all new, uge factory aluminum finned drums,brake booster,custom stainless steel brake lines, ransmission lines and fuel linesFuel tank stripped and cleanedThe body on this car is the most solid I have seen out of the five 1965 rivieras I have owned. Always garage kept.Most typical rust spots(hood lip, uarter panels) all rust free. Only rust on the body was located on the rear tail panel, ll rust was removed and replaced with a tail panel from another 65 riv. The car was painted PPG blackberry pearl in 2015.
