The transmission speedo gear has been calibrated to show the correct speed using the original speedometer in the dash. All the interior lights. dash lights. license plate lights. headlights. dome light. wipers. all work from the original switches. The Cold Air Conditioning is operated by switches mounted inside the Buick tissue dispenser with a CD player mounted between the controls. including a power antenna. Extra cooling from an electric fan comes on automatically when the air is on to assure the cooling system works when the summer temperatures get high. The ashtray next to the dispenser houses the cruise control. It also has power windows. The paint is mirror finish with few blemishes and a laser straight body. The doors shut and fit exceptionally well with all the body lines accurate. All the door jams and tail gate jams are clean and straight and with exceptional paint. All the rubber is new throughout. All the chrome has been replated and the stainless highly polished both inside and all the exterior trim. The glass is all original to the car and is in good condition. The windshield has light hazing but not very noticeable. The engine compartment is amazingly detailed. It would win most shows and is as close to concourse as possible. Nearly all parts are highly polished or chrome on the motor. The block is close to the original 1957 Buick Green. The interior was done by Guy's Interior Restorations. They are known for doing concourse. cars and show cars. The seats are leather with cloth inserts. The headliner and carpets are new. The wheel well compartment is nicely finished in new carpeting. The undercarriage is finished in satin black and is as nice as the top of the car with no rust. It has radial tires and new chrome wires. In the glove box is the original owners manual. Remarkable Caballero. Nice for shows and not far from concourse condition. It is not difficult to spend well over $100. 00 plus the cost of the car to restore one of these.
