1970 BUICK ELECTRA 225 CONVERTIBLE FROM COLORADO

Here for auction from high and dry Colorado is a beautifully maintained time capsule 1970 Buick Electra 225 convertible. By all indications. the 92. 00 miles on the odometer is the original mileage. The car’s seats. front and back. all of the carpets. the door panels. top boot and the replacement top are nearly flawless. The back window seems to be original and is in good condition. The ash trays front and back and the cigarette lighters appear to have never been used. The car shows no evidence of ever having any rust issues which is indicative of a genuine Colorado car. It was purchased new from Rush Motors in Boulder. Colorado. Until several years ago it was owned by the original owner when it appeared in his estate sale. It appears that the car experienced one repaint some time ago in the original color. Bamboo Cream. The car has new radial tires on Buick styled wheels. New mufflers on the dual exhaust recently installed. The top. AM/FM radio. tilt wheel. power seat. door locks. trunk lock heater. power steering. power brakes. power windows. air conditioning. wipers and other instruments all work. The car starts easily. drives and shifts very well. powered by its 455 cubic inch V8. Needless to say it is fast and powerful. The underside is what you would expect in an original unrestored but well cared for car from a dry climate. Included are the spare tire. tire tools. owner’s manual and the so-so original Buick floor mats. Not many original pre-Federal bumper Buicks around in this fine condition.
