Up for bids. my 39. 00 mile Coupe Deville. Here's what background I know. The guy I bought the car from inherited it from his grandfather in South Dakota. The car had been sitting in a garage for many years and was not roadworthy when he inherited it. He wanted to bring the car home to Minneapolis so he could deal with it here. He spent a lot of money getting the car gone over by a professional shop to render the car roadworthy again. The highlights included brakes. belts. hoses. tune up. carb work. heater core. radiator. fuel pump. gas tank removal. complete flush and cleaning of tank and misc other things. The car was then driven back to Minnesota where I wound up buying it. I put on four new radial tires as the tires on the car were actually good but had flat spots in them from sitting for so long. I also replaced the shocks and put in newheavy duty rear coil springs as the old springs needed to be replaced. I also got the air working last summer and converted it to R-34. The car is completely roadworthy now and I would not hesitate to go anywhere in it. It does need either a new headliner or the original one re-glued. The bumper fillers in the back under the gas filler area need to be replaced. The paint on the top surfaces of the car are "checked" and faded. Yes. the car looks great in the pictures but I want it made clear that this is just a nice old car that you can enjoy and drive anywhere. BUT. t is not a trophy winning show car. Also. before I forget. the carpet on the bottom of the drivers door has come loose and should be repaired or replaced. The time to ask questions about the car. have it inspected. request more pictures is before you place a bid. I do not wish to run around taking pic's or arranging to put the car up on a hoist or storing the car for someone after the buyer has won the auction. If you are the winning bidder on the auction. you own the car. I will be happy to do everything I possibly can to be sure you are 100% comfortable with the car and have any and all concerns addressed before you decide to bid or buy. The few old cars I have sold on eBay were all purchased sight unseen and shipped away. the buyers were happy. I wish to keep it that way. My name is Mark and my cell phone number is: 612-839-0746. Best time to call is between 3PM and Midnight central standard time.
