Auto - Project Car 1991 Cadillac Seville White Maroon 4-Dr Only 3 Owners

This could be a good project car, or someone with mechanical and electrical expertise. You can either fix this one up, r combine it with another. We do not have the time nor the knowledge to do so ourselves.

This car was purchased by our family in 2002, or my elder son.

We were told that the owner was rebuilding it in his garage when he was called up in 2000, nd went to Iraq.

He was Replacing/Repairing the interior, nd had just tacked it in temporarily.

He had reworked part of the electrical, nd put in a Dead Man's Switch on the column.

And, e was supposedly a friend.

One week after buying, he car's electrical system started jerking, nd would short, hile driving.

We drove it less than 50 miles.

We took it into what was Ballards, hat is now (Thankfully) Family Car Care Center.

They gave us an estimate for over 3x the purchase price, o we took it elsewhere, nd asked for what might need repairing.

~We Detached the Battery, nd the Air, hen we parked it, o keep it from being stolen; we have reattached both, nd trickle charged it. It turns over but doesn’t start – can imagine what the oil is like – and we possibly missed a loose spark plug.

This has sat in our driveway for three years and we want it gone

This is what we have figured out:

Possible Bent Push rod

Speakers have an audio whine

Will Need new tires (From sitting that long)

Upholstery is a little worn

Needs a complete oil change and clean-out

Security system needs to be rewired

Electrical System needs to be checked to see what this soldier messed with

You will note from pictures hood ornament has been removed, here was an attempt to take it, o we brought it inside
