I am selling my father 1987 Cadillac Allante. He has always wanted one, nd last spring he bought himself one. He drove it on the weekend, nd never in the ran. Since owning the car, he car has got

The car also has a sport exhaust installed. This is not very loud, nd gives it a nice V8 tone. A youtube can be added of the exhaust if requested.
This car starts everytime, rives straight, nd runs great. It has been very reliable for us, nd honestly we would love to keep the car. Unfortunately, y father has gotten very sick, nd we are getting rid of most of his belongings. This cars bidding is started so low because the only issue with the car is the title. It is a clean title, ut it has an "odometer" error on it. For NJ, he title is an "M" title, hich means "Mileage Exceeds the Mechanical Limits." This was a mistake, ecause the stock odometer can read 999,999 miles, o I find it very hard to believe this car has gone over 1 million miles. This mistake was made when the car was owned in Virginia. The driver side door lock is tough to move, e assume with some proper lubrication it would work better. This Allante has the same issues as most Allantes due to age such as worn seats and sun visors that don't stay up. The air conditioning does not work in the car, ut all the components are there and the compressors turns on and off. My father just always drove with the top down, o we never tried to fix it. We assume it could be just a simple re-charge. The car looks great, ut with a very close inspection, here are few paint defects. These defects are so small they won't show up in the pictures. The driver side door lock is a tough to move. Passenger window button sometimes doesn't work on driver side, ut from passenger side always works. The rear "Allante" badge has also began to fall off.
When we bought the car, e wanted a clean, ice example of an Allante with no plans to sell it. Unfortunately, his does affect the price, o we have adjusted the starting price to reflect this. Without the M reading, e would have put the car up for sale starting at $7k. Our loss is going to be someone's gain, ecause right now we just do not have a use for the car.
This Cadillac Allante is for someone who wants a reliable, lean example of this great car, nd is willing save money by living with "M" code on the title.
