1968 Cadillac DeVille Base Convertible RUNS & DRIVES

As you can see by the photos, he's a little rough around the edges. We gave it a tune up, new starter and to our amazement it started right up just like the seller said it would. The engine sounds great and has lots of compression. We drove it slowly around the lot so we could use the Maine expression "it yard drives". Brakes are nonexistent. Needs exhaust, ody work and more love than I can give her. It was killing me seeing it sit there dying and it's definitely worth the effort if you have some storage and the talent to work on it. The frame has two bad spots on each side in the same place. (just about below the doors) It's almost as if it was sitting on the ground in those places as the floors pans, runk, as tank, tc all seem to be in decent shape. Both doors open and close easily without sagging. A few chrome trim pieces are missing, ront bumper is good except for the drivers side corner, he rear bumper is miraculously dent free and solid. Any of these parts are readily available. All the glass is good, ncluding the convertible top rear glass. Drive it on the trailer and take her home! Someone will as there is no reserve!
