CHEVROLET CORVETTE 1962 #’S MATCHING L84 FUEL INJECTION BLACK PLATE CALIFORNIA CAR SINCE NEW Here is an original engine. numbers matching. L84 factory fuel injection (not a restamp). No hit body and beautiful frame. Car lived its entire life in Eureka. California until January. 2013 when it went to Arizona. 1 repaint is several years old and has some nicks here and there and some stress webs; but still looks great. The engine is very strong. The original FI unit is not with the car. The interior is believed to be original. The original door panels and seat covers are original; the carpet and dash pad have been replaced. All gauges and radio are in working order…. the clock is not. This is a factory hard top only from new with all original plexiglass windows and in very good condition. All original glass including windshield. This car was in indoor storage for many years. Recomissioned 2 years ago. All new brakes. wheel cylinders and master cylinders (original metallic brakes taken off. still in very good condition and go with the car). It does not appear like bumpers were ever taken off the car. Fit on car is outstanding. 4 new radial tires on original wheels and hub caps are excellent. New leaf springs. tune up and service. New correct off road exhaust system. It is believed to have had 3 local owners. The original California black plates are original to this Corvette and stay with the car. Exterior is Fawn Beige Metallic with Fawn interior. I have copies of titles from 2 out of the 3 original Eureka. California owners. This car runs and drives extremely well. Getting very hard to find.
