Cadillac took the LS6 Corvette Z06 400 horsepower engine and T56 manual transmission and stuffed them into their new lightweight sedan. to complete the package, large Brembo brakes, stiffer sway bars, and higher spring rates make this car handle like no other GM sedan. This car is comfortable, quiet (with the windows up) and fast! This particular example is a well taken care of low mileage car that has been tastefully modified with just about everything you would do on "day two" of owning one of these cars. It has had the following failure prone items taken care of: Corvette LS7 clutch to replace the noisy stock dual mass setup, it has Revshift urethane motor mounts to replace the soft and leaky oil filled OE units, it has had the sloppy factory shifter replaced with a hurst short throw unit, and the weak factory starter replaced with an aftermarket piece. Lastly these cars are know for their weak differential. This car has one of the most important updates if you plan on driving hard or serious horsepower; a Creative Steel 8.8 differential upgrade with 600 horse axles. Well worth the $3000 for parts alone! The rest of the modifications make the car a wolf in sheep's clothing. It has had a Rick Crawford Racing 219/231 .625/.625 113 LSA cam, LS7 lifters, trick flow valve springs, comp hardened push rods, manly undercut stem valves, melling high volume oil pump, ls2 heavy duty timing chain, longtube headers, cat delete, and magnaflow mufflers installed and the ecm tuned to accomodate. the end result puts the car well over the 440 horsepower mark, while maintaing over 20 mpg on the highway! The end result is a car that barks as hard as it bites! The car has been lowered on H&M springs, the badges redone in greyscale, and has had the tail lights and fog lights tinted black for just enough of a menacing look. Compare this car to the mileage and asking price of stock first gen CTS-Vs at a dealer. You are getting all the Performace upgraded nearly free! Drive the car the way it is, or take it to the next level with the massive availability of LS engine performance parts! As with any used car, it is not flawless. The drivers seat shows minimal wear, there is a scuff on the bottom of the front bumper cover and some rock chips in the front from driving it, and a minor door ding in the passenger fender. The headlights are very minimally faded at the edges. Two buttons on the radio have small chips. Overall car is 9/10. I have tried to describe the car as best as I can. If in doubt, ask questions.
