Up for auction we have a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado. It is Firemist Gold, with a tan, leather interior. This car belonged to a friend of mine who passed away this past May. It has been stored for the last 6 years, and will crank over very strong, but will not start, very possibly stale gas. I have done absolutely nothing to get it started and don't want to get involved in working on this vehicle. I've been a mechanic since 1969, never worked on Cadillacs, especially the northstar, and will not start now. However, it ran and drove very, very well before it was stored in 2009. The paint appears to be all original with a few minor dents and a small hole in the one tail light. Interior is real decent for leather. The drivers window switch needs replaced, it will not go up unless you jump the switch. Window motor is fine, it's just the switch. Now for the interesting part. Bill bought this car at the Manheim Auto Auction through my business. When he bought the vehicle, the seller advertised that it was used in the filming of the TV series The Sopranos. I looked around a bit online, couldn't find anything, so I honestly do not know. However, the windshield is clear, plate glass, and I've been told this type of windshield was used in filming so the driver could be seen. The windshield is also broken and needs replaced. I ended up with this car because Bill's daughter just wanted to sell off his stuff and go back to Iowa, and she couldn't get the car started. It needed to be removed from the storage garage and I offered to move it with my rollback. Where it's siting is where I dumped it off the rollback May 19th. I can deliver it for a fee, or it can be picked up. My description and the possible TV history are absolutely true, I'm not just blowing smoke! I'm not interested in playing games or 500 emails, I just want this thing to go away, Cadillacs are not my thing. Please check my feedback for the last 16 years on EBAY, 100 % positive.
