1963 Cadillac series 62 4 door 4 window hardtop

1963 Cadillac series 62 4 door 4 window. Equipped with the original 390 V8. 3 speed automatic transmission. PS. PB. PW. power seat. The title shows 16955 actual miles and the odometer shows 19003 miles. We have VA inspection receipts that verify the mileage and the old inspection sticker on the windshield matches the inspection receipts. The wear on the interior seems to support the miles. The car is rust free except for the right front lower bumper corner had a 2 inch hole rusted through. We replaced it with re-chromed piece. The car had sat outside it appears most of it's life and was covered with a blue tarp that was attached with duck tape which when removed took paint with it. That is the reason for most of the primer. The car is ready to seal and paint. This is where it's gets sticky. The car fired up with little effort. but ran rough and the radiator was leaking badly. We replaced the radiator with a new one and then the car after it got warm blew water out of the top of the radiator. So off came the heads and we installed new head gaskets. new plugs. thermostat and detailed the engine compartment. It now runs cool. somewhat smooth and does not blow water out of the radiator. The cylinders did not have a ridge on them. The gas tank is clean and rust free. We went through the front brakes. new shoes. wheel cylinders and rubber hose. Also installed a new master cylinder. We did not rebuild the rear brakes. but have the parts to do so. The rears looked ok. We still do not have good brakes. but you get the parts we have left. We installed a new alternator. nd starter. All of the windows work. but the driver door has 2 bad switches. The heater core is not hooked up and most likely leaks. The carb. needs rebuilding. The front upper A arms need new bushings. It needs new exhaust. but comes with a new heat riser valve. I do not know if the mileage is correct or not. Many things make it appear it correct. but then some raise a red flag. The good is that the car is rust free and complete. It is a desirable 4 door 4 window and worth finishing. It will run. but is not road worthy. This is a no reserve auction. This car is being sold without any warranty. As is where is. Your bid is a contract to purchase. so ask any questions up front. A $500. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction with full payment due within 7 day of the auctions end. Payment of the deposit can be cash in person or paypal. The remainder can be cash in person. cashiers check. wire transfer or personal check. Checks must clear our bank before the car can be picked up. Transportation from Broadway. VA 22815 to the buyers location is the responsibility of the buyer. The car can be stored inside for 30 days from the auctions end. After 30 days the storage fee is $50. 00 a month.
