Description

This is a pretty rare combination of a 5 cyl. 5 speed Colorado with 4WD. Clutch and transmission are in good shape. no slipping or unusual noises. The 4x4 has not worked in quite some time. I believe it has to do with the dash switch electronics as that is a common problem. but I have not had it looked at. Engine runs ok. but does throw CEL P0171 for a system too lean condition. My research tells me that this is likely do to a vacuum leak. but I have not been able to find it. The only effect I have seen this have is the truck will stall at idle if left idling for an extended time. or while in extremely warm temperatures. Last time I drove it was through PA. WV. TN and it had no problem with the hills at highway speed with 600lb quad in the back. Again. this was 2+ years ago and the most I’ve done since then is start it and move it down my driveway to take pictures. I do not know if other issues will arise from it sitting for so long. New Goodyear Wrangle tires were put on just before the last trip. so tread is 90+%. Two deer hit me while driving through WV in the middle of the night. denting the hood and right side of the bed. and taking out the antenna while cracking the windshield. Windshield crack is low and not in view while driving. I popped the hood back out and the bed could probably be hammered out by getting up into the wheel well. How there wasn’t damage to the fender and door still confuses me to this day. but they are in good shape. There is rust below both door sills. as is common with any 10+ year old GM truck. The rear bumper also took some damage several years ago from a high school kid sliding into me during a snow storm. Interior is basic WT interior. but I did install black carpet in places of the vinyl floor after I purchased it. Has a vinyl bed cover with aluminum frame and air shock lift and a plastic drop in bed liner. New Goodyear Wrangle tires were put on just before the last trip. so tread is 90+%. Wheels are aftermarket aluminum. Brakes could use replacing but it is drivable as is. will include(not installed) new rotors for the front and shoes for the back. plus the front pads if I can remember where I put them in time.
