I have made a few modifications to the truck**Modifications:-OEM Rear wheel plastic inner liners have been added to conceal the ugly gap between the bed and the frame. -Chrome Door handles. -Chrome mirrors-22" GM Brand 6-spoke wheels with Bridgestone Rubber. (Purchased from the local GM dealership in Joplin) TPMS sensors installed and function as the stock sensors do. The wheels with Bridgestone tires. TPMS sensors. chrome lug nuts and wheel locks were $2. 00. 00. -The rear has been lowered 2 inches in order to level out the truck. This was done with drop shackles in order to maintain full suspension movement. (Still use it as a truck)-Gator-Hyde Spray-In Bed-liner with a life-time warranty. -Removed the rubber body side moldings on doors to smooth the appearance. -Z-71 stickers have been removed to smooth the appearance. -Custom Dual Exhaust consisting of: Flowmaster 70 Series muffler. 2. 5" pipes to left and right side. and chrome exhaust tips that are mostly hidden except for the very ends. The exhaust is not loud. but you can tell it has been modified. It does not produce excessive cabin noise while driving normally down the road. It is much more pronounced compared to the stock exhaust when acceleration is heavy. The custom exhaust is from the catalytic converter back. No modifications were made which would interfere with the normal working emissions equipment. I went with a 70 series Flowmaster due to the active fuel management on the truck. The larger muffler ensures there is no high pitch resonance when the engine switches from 8 cylinder mode to 4 cylinder mode. -Maximum legal window tinting as allowed in the state of Missouri. NO MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED WHICH WOULD COMPROMISE THE 5 YEAR. 100. 00 MILE GM WARRANTY. *No modifications have been made to the engine. transmission or front and rear ends. Other than a small scratch on the very front of the hood. the body and paint is in perfect condition. I parked a little too close to my garage door when it was lowering one day. and it scratched the very front edge of the hood. The scratch is about an inch and a half long. I used touch up paint to fix it the best I could. It isn't 100% perfect. but is not noticeable if you aren't looking for it. I clay bar the entire truck at the beginning of every spring. Then I polish the paint and coat it with wax twice a year. Only Meguire's products have ever been used on the paint. The chrome on the wheels is perfect and there are ZERO scratches to the wheels anywhere. The tires are also in excellent condition and have about 10. 00 miles on them. They have been rotated twice in the 10. 00 miles. The interior of the truck is 100% perfect with no tears or scratches. Heavy duty thick floor mats have been used since the day I bought it. There is no grease or dirt on the headliner. visors. doors. carpet. etc. There is not one dent on the truck. I always park at the end of every parking lot to ensure it stays this way! You will be able to see by the vehicle history report that this truck has never been wrecked or involved in any type of loss. The title is clean.
