1952 Chevy 3100 Metallic Blue. It is a 15 year old restoration. A 1952 body has been placed on a 1990 Chevy 1500 Chassis and drive train. It has a 4. 3 V6 fuel injected Vortec mated to a 700 R4 Over Drive transmission. Vehicle has original road side under hood retractable safety light. Freshly tuned up with new cap. roter. wires. plugs. all fluids changed. transmission pan and filter replaced. Brand new electric windshield wiper motors. This truck was built for reliability and hassle free maintenance. The 1500 dash cluster has been modified to fit the 1952 dashboard for functionality. The interior is in great shape with no tears or wear. Has an early 90s interior look. Has a lokar high rise shifter. and functional AC and heat. Chrome bumpers and grill are brand new. recently purchased. Truck has been garage kept for entire restoration life. Paint job is almost near 100% perfect. No scratches or dings. Recently purchased and installed DJM complete lowering suspension kit. Lowered 4" in front 6" in the rear. Kit came with 2" drop spindles. 2" lowering springs. and a flip kit for rear axle. As well 4 new performance shocks. Fresh roters and brake pads. Brand new 15" Chrome steelies with baby moon caps. Brand new BF Goodwrench radial whitewalls. Truck bed is the original wood look. This truck was built to have appearance of the original 1952 but have modern amenities. Truck runs and drives like a 1990 pickup truck. Truck gets approx 22 MPG. Truck can travel at 80 MPH on highway without any issues. Extremely reliable. Yes this truck DOES NOT have a V8 like its rivals. but this truck has 195 horsepower and much more power than it did from factory. This truck was built to be driven and be reliable and to not go from gas station to gas station. Although it is a great foundation to convert to a V8 or LS if that is what you prefer. This truck makes a great daily driver with no hassle or a fun cruise night or car show truck.
