Fuel economy ratings are impressive as well. with an estimated 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. In addition to the more potent V6 engine. the latest Chevy Silverado benefits from a diet as well. The new regular cab model with the V6 and a 6-foot. 6-inch pickup bed. for example. weighs 250 fewer pounds than its predecessor.
